  * debian/rules: Link everything with "--as-needed".

  * Update d/rules, d/patches/add-required-libs.patch:
    Fix FTBFS on i386 when building with -Wl,as-needed
    and stack protection enabled.
    (Ubuntu: instead of disabling stack protection)

  * Update d/patches/endianness.patch:
    Enable building on s390x and arm64.
    Closes: #739186.
