  * Merge from Debian unstable. Remaining changes:
    - Pass -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 to work around the compiler incorrectly
      annotating some questionable pointers and causing a buffer overflow
      assertion at runtime. (Ref LP #2058094)
    - Skip some new tests, failing also in Debian sid
