I run a desktop, laptop and netbook English-GB Maverick but in France. All three with OOo 3.2.1, two with Libo RC2 with GB language pack, English and French dictionaries. Removed OOo from the third. The PPA installed both American and GB together with French but no English dictionary. Added English dictionary manually but had to reboot before Libo acknowledged English dictionary was available.
Perhaps the PPA was picking up the language from the location rather than the one in use on the machine. Ideally should have installed both English and French. Nearly ready to go but keeping with .deb for the two main machines (currently RC3)
